The statement “the devil contributed to the crucifixion of Jesus” is a statement that is widely circulated in cyberspace. The statement contains a theological and logical fallacy. Theologically, the devil did not contribute to the crucifixion of Jesus. The redemption of Jesus Christ through the cross was God's grand plan from eternity. Logically, the statement “the devil contributed to the crucifixion of Jesus” contains logical errors such as “False Cause Fallacy”, “Post Hoc Fallacy”, “moralistic fallacy” and “Equivocation Fallacy”. Through a descriptive qualitative approach using literature study data collection, the author tries to critically analyze the statement. The analysis is done both theologically and logically to disarm the logical errors and theological errors in the statement.
