Dua Tabiat Dalam Satu Pribadi: Analisis Historis Atas Perdebatan Kristologis Dan Relevansinya Bagi Gereja Di Indonesia

Doktrin dua tabiat dalam satu pribadi merupakan pusat perdebatan Kristologis dalam sejarah gereja Kristen. Perdebatan tersebut muncul karena adanya berbagai pandangan yang menekankan salah satu natur Kristus secara berlebihan, baik keilahian maupun kemanusiaan-Nya. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis perkembangan historis perdebatan Kristologis mengenai dua natur Kristus serta relevansinya bagi gereja di Indonesia. Metode yang digunakan ialah penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan historis-teologis melalui studi literatur terhadap sumber-sumber teologi, dokumen konsili gereja, dan jurnal akademik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rumusan Konsili Kalsedon mengenai dua tabiat Kristus dalam satu pribadi menjadi dasar penting bagi ortodoksi gereja dalam menjaga keseimbangan antara keilahian dan kemanusiaan Kristus. Dalam konteks gereja Indonesia, pemahaman yang utuh mengenai dua natur Kristus penting untuk menghadapi tantangan pluralisme, penyederhanaan teologi digital, dan lemahnya pemahaman doktrinal jemaat. Kajian ini memberikan kontribusi bagi penguatan pendidikan teologi dan pembinaan iman gereja kontemporer.
